Date note: Observation in the Army Commander’s inspection report of 9 September, not a cancelled journey or confirmed transport movement.
2. Officers of the reconnaissance staff on the Channel Islands are not on the mainland. Their transport at short notice for a conference therefore cannot be guaranteed.
