9 October 1942 Part 6 Aircraft lost between Carteret and Jersey

Between 15.00 hours on 8 October and 15.00 hours on 9 October, a total of forty-four aircraft flew into the Cherbourg area. One aircraft crashed into the sea between Cap Carteret, sixty kilometres northwest of St Lô, and Jersey after antiaircraft fire.
