9 July, Saint-Malo: M 4602 not combat-ready because of engine damage. 13:00: cast off in tow of Vp 208 for Guernsey and onward to Rouen yard. NW force 3–4, sea 3, cloud 5, visibility seven nautical miles. 14:10: anchored in Saint-Malo roads. 22:40: weighed and proceeded to Guernsey in tow.
