Present quarters: II Battalion headquarters at Octeville; 5th Company at Saint-Vaast; 6th at Ravenoville; 7th at Quinéville; 8th at Quettehou. III Battalion headquarters and 9th–12th Companies at Montebourg. Departure of Assault Gun Battalion 905 proceeds according to plan. Battle Group 389 personnel strength: 4,105. Captured tanks: Panzer Battalion 213, thirty-four; I/Panzer Regiment 100, fifty-four. Shipping between the Channel Islands and mainland has resumed.

319th and 716th Divisions report enemy aircraft crossing their areas. The 716th Division reports one gun of 1/Army Motorised Artillery Battalion 831 unavailable for firing while under repair.
