7 December 1942 Night air activity and island antiaircraft claims

Between 23:00 and 02:00 numerous enemy aircraft crossed the islands from the mainland. Heavy flak on Jersey and Guernsey and light flak on Alderney engaged; low-flying formations over Alderney also drew machine-gun fire. Guernsey claimed one aircraft, Alderney probably another.
