7 April 1943 and subsequent routing of the Le Marchant radar extract

The duplicate of the 11–12 February radar assessment bears an April 1943 processing stamp read as 7 April and further stamps including 13 April. A handwritten request in the left margin asks that the cause be established; another asks for the matter to be investigated immediately. The lower forwarding annotation requests examination and, if appropriate, further action; its full wording, date and signatures are not securely legible. On the reverse, routing instructions send the war diary onward to the Naval War Staff and the matter for further handling; a handwritten date appears to read 15 April [uncertain]. These administrative records do not establish that the equipment was still defective in April.
