A Liberator on a south-westerly course strafed the naval base. Numerous hits were made on buildings. Defensive fire was opened and two hits on the fuselage were observed. Ammunition expenditure: 53 rounds, 2 cm, including 26 high-explosive rounds; 66 machine-gun rounds.
