Diary Entry
Continuation: 6 December 1944
10:30 — Peter Port
A.F. 71 sailed in accordance with Convoy Order No. 11 (see War Diary, page 281).
Because of a sudden deterioration in the weather, the Jersey–Guernsey supply convoy planned for 11:30 was postponed by 24 hours. A.F. 71 was recalled by radio.
It was intended to move F.K. 01/04 from Jersey to Guernsey at 15:00 that day, so that the island field post could be returned to Guernsey before the aircraft's return flight.
