6 December 1942 Jersey an exception in fortification progress

Editorial note: The favourable exception is Jersey. The surrounding report discusses shortcomings elsewhere in the Army area. The report heading and date are on PDF page 53.

Progress in the permanent fortification of the coast does not meet even the most modest expectations; only the construction work on the island of Jersey forms an exception.
