5 September 1942 Alderney Harbour Commandant diary

Partly cloudy, rainy towards evening, WSW 3–4, sea 2. 0815: FK 04/21 returned from patrol. 0900: Claus, tug Elbe and one barge departed for Guernsey with the convoy passing from Cherbourg. 0915: Georgi and Franka entered from the Cherbourg convoy. 0950: Georgi departed for Guernsey. 2130: FK 08/22 went to patrol position.
