1) Situation at sea

Channel Islands: at 1355 hours, one troop transport northwest of Cherbourg, heading south. International Red Cross ship Vega entered Peter Port at 2200 hours.

Translator’s note: The report is dated 5 May and headed “Situation on the morning of 4 May”. The later report of 6 May explicitly dates Vega’s arrival to the evening of 3 May; both source reports are retained.
