5 August, 03:20: off Granville, released convoy to enter and proceeded independently to Saint-Malo. Wind SSW 3–4, sea 3, showers, visibility [figure faint]. 05:35: passed Grand Jardin. 05:40: anchored in Saint-Malo roads. 09:30: weighed anchor and entered lock. 10:10: secured at berth, normal readiness.
