4 October 1942 Alderney Harbour Commandant diary
Cloudy, visibility 4–5 nautical miles, SSE 1, sea 1. 0638: Two harbour protection boats departed in pursuit of the English who had landed on Sark. 0750: FK 22 returned from patrol; FK 08 returned from the unsuccessful pursuit. 2045: FK 08 went to patrol position.
