4 October 1942 Part 10a Air attack on Alderney

On 3 October at about 19.30 hours, six British aircraft attacked the harbour and several strongpoints on Alderney with bombs and aircraft guns. No material damage. One seriously wounded and one slightly wounded, one from the Army and one from the Luftwaffe. Defence by antiaircraft guns and machine guns. Probably two aircraft shot down over the sea.
