Group A contribution 1: no comments for 15–21 October, boats operationally under 2nd Security Division. 24 October 23:55: escort-office diary says nothing about incident; report requested. Group C: M 4600 acting both convoy leader and guide justified by superior navigational equipment. Group C contribution 2, M 4605/M 4607: no comments, operationally under 2nd Security Division. In division commander's absence, First Naval Staff Officer [signature].
