Fixed cinemas showed forty-eight films in 657 performances to 313,576 spectators. Five Strength through Joy theatre groups performed on ninety-two days with mainland divisions; two groups on Alderney performed on seventeen days, and two on Guernsey and Jersey on fifty-four days.
