Fixed cinemas showed forty films in 549 performances to 285,782 spectators. Seven Strength through Joy theatre groups gave 150 performances with mainland divisions. On Alderney, two groups performed on twenty-seven days; on Guernsey and Jersey, two groups performed on twenty-five days.
