November 1942 Channel Islands November construction report

Date note: Monthly report; placed at the last calendar day of the month. Figures explicitly refer to the Channel Islands; separate army-wide totals are not treated as island totals.

Under the programme to bring permanent construction at the main concentrations to 74 per cent by 1 May 1943, 130 installations remained to be built on the Channel Islands. This calculation used the construction returns of 1 November 1942. The report states that Army coastal artillery installations were generally to be charged against the Navy allocation.
