30 June 1942 Alderney Harbour Captain diary

Cloudy, W 1–2, visibility 1–2 nautical miles, sea 1. 0315: HS 12 returned from patrol. 2330: HS 3 went to patrol position. In accordance with the Naval Commander Channel Coast order of 29 June 1942, the Alderney Harbour Captain’s office was converted into a Harbour Commandant’s office.
