3 November 1942 Jersey deportation protest and Guernsey cable sabotage

On Jersey, a demonstration mainly by young people accompanied embarkation of the last deportation transport on 29 September. The German report nevertheless claims deportation had no lasting effect on civilian behaviour or morale. The sabotage register records a Luftwaffe cable incident on Guernsey on 1 October.
