Editorial note: Additional Seventh Army account of an incident already represented in the master; this is not an additional action. This account reports six Typhoons, three dead and one wounded. The existing Sea Defence account identifies FK 24 and FK 31, reports three attackers and two lightly wounded; those differences remain unresolved.

Two boats of the Channel Islands flotilla were attacked by six Typhoons near Jersey. One boat set on fire by gunfire and sunk. Three dead, one wounded.
