29 August: Cherbourg harbour commandant orders both boats with tug Volkmar and pilot boat Le Cerf to Guernsey. 22:30: sailed with convoy under M 4606's commander. Wind SW 4–5, sea 3, visibility 5 nautical miles. Formation in original. Signed Meyer.
