Night 28/29 January. Wind WSW–WNW3–4, visibility 5–8 nautical miles, sea 1–2. Mammut Jobourg tracks several enemy ships 1322–1406 from centre BF3147 to centre 2369. Because of incorrect deciphering, Guernsey II radar detections attributed to Alderney radar and targets identified as enemy in locating signals 0129 and 0150. Locating signal 0223 declared transmitted enemy signals invalid. Eighteen locating signals for navigational assistance.
