The remaining elements of III/Infantry Regiment 584 crossed to Alderney on 8 February.
Colonel von Marnitz submitted 319 Division’s tactical and technical design for Channel Islands fortification on 11 February.
The design was examined on 12 February and subsequent days, briefed finally to the commander on 25 February, and sent to Fifteenth Army on 27 February.
