Battery Steinbruch
Diary Entry
27 February 1944
A review found the marine coastal batteries inadequately supplied with armour-piercing 2 cm ammunition. Batteries Steinbruch and Mirus were among the few marine batteries holding any, and even their allocation amounted to only about 5-13 per cent of requirement. Priority resupply was requested.
