25 July 1944 Part 2 Reconnaissance over the islands during the Normandy fighting
In northern Brittany and over the Channel Islands, enemy aerial reconnaissance followed its normal course. Enemy naval reconnaissance in the Jersey–Saint-Brieuc area and incoming and transit flights over the mainland during the night to supply resistance fighters were the same as on the preceding days. During the day, enemy aerial reconnaissance was concentrated particularly on the Avranches–Saint-Brieuc area and Fortress Saint-Malo.
