25 August 1944 US Navy PT 500 and PT 502 action report transmitted
Commander, MTB Squadron 34, forwarded the action reports for PT 500 and PT 502 to Commander in Chief, United States Fleet, through the same command chain. The letter was marked CONFIDENTIAL, file FC8-34/A12-1, and signed H. J. Sherertz. It cited COMINCH letter FF1/A12-1/A16-3, serial 7152 of 29 October 1943. Kennedy’s enclosed report is undated in its visible heading. [A pages 1–3]
