25 August: written order: M 4610, M 4616 and M 4618 to pass outward at 16:00 with Guêpe 76, Quatrième, two lighters, Meteor and tug Max, then sail for Jersey at 22:00. 16:00: passed outward and anchored in roads. 21:30: weighed anchor with convoy and proceeded to Jersey. Tug Max had no stokers aboard and was sent back at the approach buoy. Wind SE 2–3, sea 1, visibility 12 nautical miles. Formation in original. Signed Mehlem.
