Einsatzgruppe = operational group; Oberbauleitung = senior construction office; Bauleitung = construction office; Deutsche = Germans; Ausländer = foreign nationals; Arbeiter = workers; Gewehre = rifles; LMG = light machine guns; MP = submachine guns; Pistolen = pistols; Schuss = rounds. Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey appear under the Normandy construction organisation at St Malo. The workforce labels alone do not establish the employment or coercion status of individual workers.
