Command decision concerning the Claus Wilhelm proposal

Naval High Command West had ordered by FT 2027 on 17 November that a position be taken on the intentions of Captain Meyer of the motor vessel Claus Wilhelm. After the vessel’s return it was established that Captain Meyer’s plans, which he had submitted in writing to the Kriegsmarinedienststelle Hamburg, agreed with the considerations already made by me. On 22 November I submitted the following statement: FT 2129/22.
