Night 24/25 May. Wind W–SW2–4, visibility 8–12 nautical miles, sea 1–3. Very good radar weather. FuMO214 Jobourg detected several medium targets 0039 at 136 hectometres in lower-left edge BF3516, course 180°, speed 14–16 knots. FuMO2 Alderney directed onto them, detected same targets 0105 at 135 hectometres in upper centre BF3518. Targets to lower-left 3519, fired on there 0121 by Alderney Artillery Group. 0121 FuMO51 Cap de la Hague II detected enemy targets at 225 hectometres in lower centre BF3519. Targets detected by FuMO214 Jobourg split in centre BF3519 at 0132: western group via upper-left 3519, eastern group via upper-right 3519, reunited in centre 3519. Lost by FuMO2 Alderney 0142 at 182 hectometres, FuMO51 Cap de la Hague II0155 at 314 hectometres, and Jobourg 0213 at 376 hectometres in upper-left 3516. Latest descriptions by set commanders and detection ranges indicate, contrary to initial medium-target identification, a small-boat group per Naval Direction-Finding Battalion Flanders intelligence report 872 of 25 May 0025 (small-boat combat group).

Further target 0140, single detection by 214 Jobourg in lower-left edge BF3527, questionable. Eleven locating signals concerning reported enemy targets. Alderney Artillery Group opened fire 0121 on targets in lower-left BF3519. After firing, immediate turn onto northerly course apparent. No fall-of-shot measurements. Normandy interception network bearings 0031–0214 on targets detected by Jobourg, Alderney and Hague II [continued on frame 00701].
