Weather: wind from 270°, 4 metres per second.

Batterie West on Alderney was tested without defects, three rounds per gun. It could be declared ready for neither direct nor indirect fire: the correct metre-elevation arcs, bearing pedestals with counters, E.U. and S.V. indicators, rangefinder and scissor telescope had still not arrived despite repeated requests. Otherwise no special occurrences.
