In any event, the military hospital there will arrange the assignment of additional medical personnel.

Administrative affairs
A telephone conversation with Senior Military Administrative Councillor Seiler of the staff of the Commander Northwest France establishes the following concerning Channel Islands reserves: on 1 June 1944 the Channel Islands held 1,570 tonnes of flour and grain. Butter and meat are secured from their own production, as are vegetables and potatoes; early potatoes from 15 June 1944. These stocks suffice for two months. If food rations are brought into line with mainland scales, supply is assured for three months.
