[Scan 1180.jpg] Organization Branch III no. 2054/41, top secret. Headquarters, 22 June 1941. First of two copies. Returned to Operations Branch, first copy. Received 24 June.

Concerning paragraph 7 of the enclosure: a) The Chief of Army Armaments and Commander of the Replacement Army will supply the following tractors for heavy artillery: one with driver to Alderney, two to Guernsey and three to Jersey. Further allocation is currently impossible. However, as soon as suitable tractors return from French repair facilities, Organization Branch will provide an increase in their number, especially for Jersey. [Handwritten addition: probably at the end of July; telephone information noted on 27 June.]

b) The 319th Infantry Division will be brought up to its full complement of light and heavy mortars. Beyond this, as soon as the equipment situation permits, fixed-position weapons will be sent to the three islands: Alderney, two light infantry guns and two 3.7 cm antitank guns; Guernsey and Jersey, each six light infantry guns and six 3.7 cm antitank guns. Two enclosures. Draft, second copy. [Signature unclear.]
