22 August 1944 US Navy Guernsey shore fire report forwarded

Godfrey submitted his CONFIDENTIAL Action Report of August 20–21 to the Commanding Officer, MTB Squadron Thirty Four, under file FC8-34/A12-1/A16-3. Enclosure (A) was the plot of PT boats when fired on. The squadron commanding officer forwarded the report to Commander in Chief, United States Fleet. The transmittal lists Commander, Eleventh Amphibious Force, and Commander, PT Squadrons, Eleventh Amphibious Force, in its Via lines and is signed H. J. Sherertz, Lieutenant. Both documents cite COMINCH serial 7152 of 29 October 1943. [C pages 1–2]
