Written escort office order: enter lock at 22:30 with Guêpe 58, Guêpe 76, Normandie II, three lighters and Meteor, then proceed to Jersey. 22:30: passed outward with convoy and proceeded to Jersey. Wind SW 4–5, sea 3–4, visibility 12 nautical miles, long high swell. Formation in original. Signed Mehlem.
