21 October 1943 Channel Islands Sea Defence diary

Weather: wind 270°, 8 m/sec. St Aubin lower light, Jersey, was out of action. From 20:23 to 20:36 Batterie Strassburg conducted autumn calibre-practice firing at a towed target with searchlight illumination. Ammunition expenditure: twenty-eight 22-cm shells (source designation Stg. Granaten).
