21 November 1942 Part 6

21 November 1942 Army reports conspicuous island reconnaissance and urges vigilance

Date note: Placed at the dated report and order, 21 November, rather than assigning an unprinted date to the aircraft observations.

The evening report records active reconnaissance over the Channel Islands from 18:00 to 22:00 in the preceding reporting interval. No separate event date is typed.

The order of 21 November calls reconnaissance over the islands conspicuous and urges the utmost vigilance on the western coast in the coming days. Corps commanders may order increased defensive readiness according to their own assessment.
