Radio telegram FT 1111/39 to Oberleutnant Karl: ‘The Minquiers are to remain occupied. Post leader Obersteuermann Pfaffendorf and Dieckmann are to return to report. Hand over one Key M with inner and outer setting 21 December, together with the groups in column no. 1 of the P-key setting valid today. There is one landing craft on the island with five prisoners. Bring the boat and prisoners back. Admiral.’
