20 August, Saint Peter Port: M 4610, M 4613 and M 4616 ready to sail. Written harbour commandant's order: proceed to Saint-Malo with tug Denise and a cutter, also M 4607 in tow. 22:00: boats cast off and took over convoy in roads. M 4613 took M 4607, non-operational owing to engine damage, in tow. Proceeded toward Saint-Malo. Wind SSE 4–5, sea 2–3, visibility 8 nautical miles, rain, moderate swell. Formation in original. Signed Mehlem.
