2 July, Boat Order 372 of 1 July: escorts to take over Claus and Nestor for Jersey, Roslea and Guynemer with René for Guernsey off Granville at 21:30. 17:50: escorts sailed from Saint-Malo. 23:00: convoy taken over. Diagram: M 4612 leading; Nestor and Roslea; V 727 to port, Claus centre, Guynemer to starboard with René astern, M 4614 on starboard rear quarter.
