Report to the 3rd Security Division: special occurrence, 18 July — V 204/09 engaged twelve Spitfires north-east of Alderney; two confirmed and two very probable aircraft destroyed were claimed. Correction to the situation of 18 July, item 2: voyage abandoned after the engagement; boats entered Alderney, so the convoy was not carried out.
