Enemy vessels observed during the day in convoy traffic: from Cherbourg, five L.S.T.s; towards Cherbourg, four escort destroyers and twenty-two L.S.T.s. Also observed: two escort destroyers on varying courses in B.F. 3528; five destroyers on north-west and south-east courses in B.F. 3817; one minesweeper; and one burning ship in B.F. 3522.
