In response to the above directive, Army High Command reports:

Between 16 November and 19 December 1941 the following transferred to the Channel Islands. 1. To Guernsey: (a) headquarters and Anti-Tank Company 225, with seven Czech 4.7 cm anti-tank guns on R35 self-propelled mounts; (b) 2nd Company/Landesschützen Battalion 467; (c) 4th Company/Fortress Construction Battalion 157; (d) four 22 cm guns for Army Coastal Battery 471; (e) half of 1st Company/Supply Battalion 559; (f) anti-aircraft brigade headquarters; (g) Army Anti-Aircraft Platoons 533,543, 553,563, 573, each with two quadruple 2 cm mountings; (h) headquarters Fortress Engineer Commander XIV; (i) thirteen 5 cm Pak38, making fifteen in total; (k) laying of a further 405 mines.

To Jersey: (a) 2nd Company/Fortress Construction Battalion 40; (b) 2nd Company/Fortress Construction Battalion 61; (c) four 22 cm guns for Army Coastal Battery 470; (d) half of 1st Company/Supply Battalion 559; (e) Army Anti-Aircraft Platoons 503,513, 523, each with two quadruple 2 cm mountings; (f) Army Coastal Artillery Battalion headquarters from 327th Infantry Division; (g) 150 NCOs for static employment.
