Light cloud, visibility 2–3 nautical miles; S 1–2, calm sea. 0415: Vp 207/213 departed for Jersey. 0525: HS 183/192 arrived from Cherbourg. 0607: A rescue fast boat arrived from Cherbourg to collect an injured naval artillery man and returned at 0630. 1530: HS 183/192 departed for Guernsey. 1715: Vp 704/1510 arrived with RO 8 and Schwalbe. 1845: Georgi, Lena and Gerfried departed for Cherbourg. 2140: Tugs Stade and B 125 S arrived from Cherbourg with a barge and floating crane.
