18 September 1942 Air reconnaissance and possible convoy north of Alderney

Enemy reconnaissance continued over the Channel Islands. At 11:43 on 18 September fifteen balloons moving east to west were seen at great distance north of Alderney, presumed by the report to mark a British convoy.
