18 August: Boat Order 447: proceed to Granville at 19:30, take over Normand and Claus for Jersey, Tourane for Jersey/Guernsey and Comptoir 51 for Guernsey. 19:30: both boats sailed. 23:20: took over convoy off Granville, under M 4612's commander. Wind SSE 1, sea 1, visibility 8 nautical miles. Formation in original. Signed Ricker.
