18 August 1943 Operations daily report
3/Panzer Regiment 100 renamed 4/Panzer Regiment 100. Unoccupied islands off the Channel Islands were inspected without adverse findings. III/726 and III/736, the reserve battalions, are in bivouac until further notice. Further divisional reports: no special events. Distribution: commanding general, chief of staff, quartermaster, intelligence, Artillery Commander 118 and operations section.
