17 July 1943 Revised employment of guns transferred from the 319th Division Annex 19

Secret. Amending the order of 12 July, all sixteen 10.5-cm guns 331(f) sent to the 709th Division are now for the Cherbourg defence area: four in the eastern corner, four as the Fort du Roule cave battery, four in the western corner and four as anti-landing guns. Five 7.5-cm guns 235(b) previously employed as anti-landing guns in the Cherbourg defence area are to secure the Prairies Marécageuses marshland.
