16 September 1942 review of Jersey harbour diary

To Harbour Commandant Jersey, copy to Naval Commandant Channel Islands. Subject: office war diary for 1–15 August 1942. The use of signature stamps in the war diary is not permitted. Regarding the incident entered at 0030 on 15 August, report whether it was thoroughly investigated and an incident report submitted. Further filing and reminder annotations follow, including 15 October. A later handwritten note refers to teleprinter message G 1207 of 6 October and says that the St Helier Harbour Commandant reported that a report would be submitted; some handwritten wording remains uncertain. These are historical administrative instructions.
